Who are you?
My name is Dina. I’m a creative soul. A loud and stubborn Taurus full of energy. I love to eat, sleep, cry and dance alone in my room.
Where are you from?
I was born in Norlisk, Russia, the world’s most northernmost city and trust me I can’t stand the cold. At the age of 8 I convinced my parents we should move to Israel and then we ended up here in Toronto.
What do you do?
I’m currently studying Graphic Design at George Brown. I hope to one day become a creative director for a brand that I can really identify with. I’m studying graphic design because I feel that it’s a good basis for many creative fields.
I’ve been painting all my life. Growing up I always did artsy stuff like cut my clothes and bangs, throw pomegranate seeds all over white walls to make customized wallpaper. I act and model as well! I have been since the age of 18 and it’s a true passion of mine, my energy lets it speak for itself and I let my creative vibes flow.
What is your dream creative project? And what's stopping you from it? What do you need?
I have a coffee table book idea I’ve been working on for years now. Its something I became passionate about and the idea just grew and grew. This book is associated with a big brand that I love. I just don’t think the time is right yet and the project is still in its beginning stages.
If your life were a movie what would be on the soundtrack?
A lot of 60’s rock and 80’s disco. I feel like I was born in the wrong era sometimes.
Artist like New Order, Culture club, Ah-a, David Bowie, Queen
